Flier SE7EN resize

Our next BUSH ROGAINE is taking place in Litchfield National Park on Saturday the 14th of September 2024.

There are Se7en good reasons to enter - see the flyer above!

The Hash House is located at the Litchfield Education Facility (located on the Florence Falls / Buley Rockhole road).  There are showers and toilets, a large undercover common area, green grass for camping and a water hole safe for swimming.

Two events are on offer - the 4 Hour Lost & Found and the 7 Hour Map Mavens.  Maps are available from 11:00am.  Participants in the 7 Hour will start at 1:00pm and finish by 8:00pm. Those in the 4 Hour can start anytime from 2:00pm onwards, provided they are back by 8:00pm at the latest.

The 4 Hour is aimed primarily at families with children and those who want to take it very steady.

The 7 Hour is fit for everyone else!  It offers on-the-ground training and development opportunities to all those new to the sport - do not sell yourself short, have a go at it!  For the experienced rogainers it will provide some route challenges if you are looking to be competitive.

The event fee covers Maps, Camping Fees, Saturday’s Evening Meal and Breakfast on Sunday.  Get your entry in early as we need to be accurate with our catering.  (And being an Early Bird saves you some dollars as well)!

There are ample opportunities for a swim and to explore some of the extraordinary country that Litchfield has to offer, both during the event on Saturday and on the Sunday after the event.

 SATURDAY 20th JULY, 2024

Coomalie Rocks and Ridges 3

Welcome!

Our next event is being held on Saturday 20th July at Coomalie Farm which is located east of the Stuart Highway on Coomalie Creek, approximately 83km south of Darwin.

The natural long ridges and occasional knolls interspersed with creek line gullies, saddles and spurs provide an ideal location for our first true bush rogaine of the year. This naturally unique and historically rich landscape provides rogainers with an opportunity to really grasp the map-to-ground principles of cross-country navigation. The features are obvious, and a good, accurate map of the area is supplied. This site was selected as an airfield by the military during World War II. It still has many relics of that time scattered around the location.

Course setters Simon and Ben Saunders are experienced in creating an interesting course that provides both an excellent training ground for novices to the sport and exciting challenges for the more experienced rogainers.

So, arouse your curiosity, inspire some friends to join you and come down to Coomalie to explore the Rocks, Ridges and Relics that this wonderful landscape has to offer!

The entry fee covers the costs of camping, dinner, breakfast, maps and insurance.  Maps out at 9am.  Event kicks off at 11am.

Entry form below.  Please DOWNLOAD the entry form to your device so that all of the BLUE fields in the form are activated.  The entry form is designed to be completed using Excel.  Please fully complete ALL BLUE FIELDS before submitting!

Early Bird entries close on Monday 15th July, 2024.  Send completed forms to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

NIGHTCLIFF MIDDLE SCHOOL

AGM is an acronym that may send shivers down the spines of some, but it is an annual requirement that is a necessity from a club governance and functionality perspective.

If you have competed in an NTRA event in the last 12 months, you are a financial member of the club and have the right to vote at the AGM.

If you would like to get involved at the committee level, we are always looking for people with ideas to develop and raise the profile of our quirky sport. The committee usually meets in a social setting 5 or 6 times a year.

See documents attached below:

1) AGM 2024 - Agenda

2) AGM 2023 - Minutes of Minute (previous AGM)

To view the club Constitution, go to the "Resources" menu at the top of this page.  For any queries about the AGM, joining the committee or volunteering to help at the club in another capacity, please contact 0434 854 020 or send a message to This email address is being protected from spambots.
