The Coomalie Eastern Enigma Adventure
Set well east of our normal stomping ground at Coomalie Farm, this event takes us into terrain that many of you may never have traversed before. Richard Luxton has once again welcomed us back for another exciting day and night Rogaining challenge.

The plan is simple... but the challenge is not!

Maps out from 2:00 pm
Event start: 4:00 pm
Course closes: 8:00 pm sharp

The twist?

This is a non-moon event. The moon may be up there, but it won't be providing any useful illumination. As daylight fades, it will be all about:

Race the Light. Navigate the Night.
Success will depend on careful planning, smart strategy, route choice, navigation skills and strong teamwork.

Grab some mates, get together a team and head to Coomalie. Develop your strategy, plan your route and then begin the chase to locate as many controls as possible and maximise your score within the time available.

Every decision matters. Every minute counts.

It's a race against the clock and the other teams.

Entry Fee Includes:
✅ Maps
✅ Dinner
✅ Camping
✅ Great company
✅ Breakfast

What is Rogaining?

Rogaining is a sport involving long-distance cross-country navigation, teamwork, endurance, strategy, and map reading.

In simpler terms, it's spending hours in the bush with friends, making ambitious plans, discovering new shortcuts that aren't actually shortcuts, and having a fantastic time while doing it.

It's suitable for all ages and fitness levels and encourages respect for the bush, self-reliance, navigational skills, and teamwork. It also teaches valuable life lessons, such as:

Never trust the person who says, "It's just over this ridge."

Everything looks closer on the map.

Food tastes approximately 300% better after several hours in the bush.

So, stay happy, get your team organised, start sharpening those navigation skills, and begin negotiations over who will carry the snacks.
